T he Youth on Course caddie program began in 2014 at one NCGA club. Today, its grown to 17 clubs with more than 200 caddies. The program provides youth with access to mentorship opportunities, first-hand financial management and opportunities to increase their confidence, professionalism and effective communication skills. Caddies with financial need may earn an additional $50 per loop into a college scholarship fund through the Youth on Course Caddies to College program. To impact the life of a Youth on Course caddie, visit: and see if a course near you is participating. Caddies are available year-round. Contact Youth on Course Program Manager Devin Meheen at to get your club involved. W e know the transition from Youth on Course $5 green fees to full-price green fees can be tough. That's why the NCGA partnered with facilities throughout the region to create a new membership for YOC Alumni ages 18-25 to continue to have access to affordable golf. YOC Alumni members will pay only $15 or less for green fees at YOC Alumni courses – and they can refer their friends to join as well. The YOC Alumni membership is just $25/year and members receive full NCGA benefits including an official USGA Handicap index, eligibility for NCGA tournaments and events, exclusive discounts and more.
