76 FALL 2018 | NCGA.ORG T R A V E L Bandon! Get Your 2019 Calendars Ready Back to C ome the new year, the NCGA will head back to one of its members' favorite places to tee it up – Bandon Dunes. The first trip to the beloved resort, which is located on the Oregon coast, is slated for March 28 – April 1. A second trip will run immediately after, April 4-8. Bandon is traditionally one of the NCGA's most popular trips. Reservations usually fill up within days, so don't wait! Registration opens soon. Please visit ncga.org/travel for more information. T here are still some big events loom- ing on the 2018 Weekend Net Tour calendar. On Nov. 17, there'll be a playoff event at Silverado Resort in Napa where players not already exempt for the Tour Championship will get a last chance at qualifying. Those advancing will join the top-40 players from the points standings at this year's WNT Tour Championship, to be held Dec. 8–9 at Quail Lodge Resort and Poppy Hills GC. The top four players after Nov. 17 will receive paid entry into the Finals! Looking ahead to the 2019 season, NCGA members can expect the popular tour to just keep growing. Some of the ven- ues already in line for next year include Silverado Resort (Napa), Course at Wente Vineyards (Livermore), Diablo Grande (Patterson) and Teal Bend (Sacramento). Also new for 2019 will be a Senior Series, to be held on weekdays. Players will be flighted and assigned a tee by age. Formats will vary and will include payouts and optional Skins game. Perfect for those who only have time to tee it up on Saturday or Sunday, the tour is open to both male and female players of all abilities. There is no membership fee to join and entry fees are affordably priced.
