NCGA.ORG | WINTER 2019 69 C O U R S E D I R E C T O R Y How to Use the Online Directory It's simple to search for golf courses. You can do it either by location or facility type. Just type in a zip code or city name and click on 'location', or type in a course name and click on 'name'. You can even narrow your search by type of course (Public, Resort, Semi-Private or Private). Each course listing is up-to-date with directions, phone numbers, course rating and slope info and links to the website. Y ou may have already noticed a big differ- ence with this edition of the 2019 NCGA Golf Bluebook – the NCGA Course Directory isn't included. Why not, you ask? Well, it's not only reflective of the NCGA's continued efforts to going green, but more importantly it's in recognition that the NCGA Online Directory is far-superior in bring- ing our members the most up-to-date, extensive information about the courses in our region than an annually printed directory could ever do. Just what can you expect from the Online Di- rectory ( Members can easily search a course by loca- tion or name, within as much as a 50-mile radius. Courses are categorized – Public/Resort, Semi- Private, Private. Other bonuses include detailed, easily visible maps with local landmarks, directions from wher- ever you are, course reviews, photos, green fees, yardage/slope/rating information for every set of tees, up-to-date staff and course record listings, as well as links to the course websites. The Online Directory is also optimized for great user experience whether you access it on your phone, tablet or laptop. Be sure to check out the Online Directory the next time you visit the NCGA website. We think you'll like what you see! And if you think you might still want a printed version? We'll have you covered. On the homepage of the online Directory, there'll be a link to a print- able PDF. NCGA Course Directory I s Now Digital-Only
