XXXXX XXXX O ne of the highlights of U.S. Open week was longtime CBS broadcaster and Pebble Beach resident Jim Nantz doing a one-on-one interview with Jack Nicklaus at the Golden Bear's The Club at Pasadera in Monterey. Nantz, noting that in no way was he slighting Tiger Woods, called Nicklaus "the greatest player of all time" and reminded the audience that while Nicklaus finished with 18 career major wins, he also was a 19-time runner-up in majors. "Choker," replied Nicklaus with a laugh. During his visit to the Monterey Peninsula, the now 79-year-old Nicklaus stopped to get in a round at Cypress Point Club. He'd play the course at even-par through 13 holes before finishing with a 79. SEEN DURING U.S. OPEN WEEK Legendary Pairing
