R emember, your NCGA bene- fits include great discounts on tee times, apparel, travel, equipment and more – with all these great values, the membership pays for itself! We want to make sure you know about them and how to make them work for you. Some of the discounts come via your email inbox, but many of them are good everyday. These values are listed in the 'Every- day Discounts' section of our website at ncga.org/member-discounts/ Most NCGA members know about the everyday membership discount rates at Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge, but several other courses offer everyday NCGA member discounts too, including Bayonet/Black Horse GC in Seaside, Quail Lodge Resort in Carmel Valley, Carmel Valley Ranch, Corica Park in Alameda and some great venues in the Lake Tahoe region. Planning a trip down to Monterey? NCGA members get special rates at a range of nearby hotels. Traveling else- where? Try the Hertz discount, Ship Sticks or NCGA GO, our online travel portal with great hotel rates worldwide. Get deals on equipment and apparel at the Poppy pro shops or Worldwide Golf Shops. Ready for a club fitting? Get one free at the Poppy Hills Taylor- Made studio – that's a $100 value! Check out all these deals and more at ncga.org. Y ou probably have some club and charity events you like participating in. But did you know the NCGA also runs hundreds of events each year for our members? Net, scratch, match play, scramble and other interesting golf formats too. We have events for all ages & abilities; many are competitive, but some are more social. This sounds great, but how do you find out about them? On our website, we include a list of all our events, check out ncga.org/play. For 2019, we enhanced our online calendar to include a new 'eligibility filter'. Say you want to find tourna- ments for seniors, or for your handicap range. Click on the Full Calendar, filter for the event types and dates you are interested in. Then you can sort the list by age or index or other criteria. Most of our events are open to male and female players, but the calendar can also sort for women-only events. Never competed in an NCGA event before? Try One. Competed before? Try More!
