But you still have time to get in on the action and fun. As of April 30, there were still 20 events left in the season, which concludes Decem- ber 9-10 with a Tour Championship to be held at Poppy Hills GC and The Links at Spanish Bay. Among the venues the tour will be stop- ping at in the coming weeks are Turkey Creek GC in Lincoln (May 13), The Ocean Course at Half Moon Bay GL (May 21) and Coyote Creek GC in San Jose (June 10), the latter of which formerly hosted the PGA Champions Tour Silicon Valley Classic. Perfect for those who only have time to play on Saturday or Sunday, all Weekend Net Tour events are flighted by handicap and have an optional Skins game. Men use tees between 6,000-6,400 yards and women use forward tees ranging from 5,000-5,300 yards. Unlike other amateur golf tours, there's no membership fee to participate and entry fees for individual events are affordable –so play in as few or as many events as you like.
