The PGA Professional Championship is headed back to Bayonet/Black Horse Golf Course. > Seaside's 36-hole facility overlooking Monterey Bay will host the 2018 rendition of the event June 17-20. The championship was previously held there in 2012, with professional Matt Dobyns of New York-based Fresh Meadow CC claiming an impressive eight-stroke victory. Bayonet/Black Horse GC, which also hosted the 2016 Senior PGA Professional Championship and was the site of the Nationwide Tour (now Web.com Tour) Monterey Peninsula Classic from 2000-'03, was formerly a military course for troops stationed at the former Fort Ord.
