In the first round, they posted a 64 when the stroke average for the day was 80.13. The Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo duo went on to win by a record 10 strokes. "I've never seen someone win by that much in Four-Ball," said veteran Randy Haag, who finished second with part- ner Jason Anthony. 37th NCGA Mid-Amateur Championship When: June 9-10 Where: Poppy Hills GC (Pebble Beach) Defending Champion: Bobby Bucey Divots: Bucey's sudden-death playoff win last year over Jason Anthony marked his second NCGA victory in extra holes. W ith over 500 competition days on the NCGA championship calendar, there are plenty of options for players looking to take their shot at glory. Still, for the elite amateurs, there are some tournaments that are bigger than others. Get a win at one of them, and your name forever becomes a part of history. They're the trophies that everyone would love to have their names etched in. And they'll once again be up for grabs. #2018NCGASeason 14th NCGA Women's Amateur Championship When: June 20-21 Where: Poppy Hills GC (Pebble Beach) Defending Champions: Sabrina Iqbal Divots: In winning last year, Iqbal collected her first NCGA women's title.
