Each year, the NCGA holds a Hole-in-One Sweepstakes where members can record their hole-in-one and be entered into a sweepstakes with the grand prizes being a round of golf for four at Poppy Hills or Poppy Ridge. In addition, those scoring aces receive a specially designed coin to commemorate their shot. Vargas aced the 171-yard 17th at Fig Garden GC, while Gaskins aced the 108-yard 2nd hole at Riverside GC.
