The Heber Valley private community, founded in 2007 on family land by two Fortune 500 CEOs with strong ties to the region, made it through 2008's economic downturn with lots of positive press (their Jack Nicklaus course was named Golf Magazine's "Best New Private Course in America" in 2009). Partners like Jim McLean and Cliff Drysdale (who have golf and tennis instruction operations at Red Ledges) put together offerings for members of the private club that built demand for real estate – culminating in over $64 million in sales in 2017. The first quarter started off 2018 on the torrid pace that yielded 2017's record sales. The $13 million in closings in Red Ledges January 1 - March 31 is $5 million more than the previous first quarter record (set all the way back in 2008!). Red Ledges received more good news in the quarter: Ideal Living, the national real estate and lifestyle magazine that has helped thousands of vacation and retirement buyers find their dream property chose to put their "Ideal Home" at Red Ledges. "Ideal Living magazine is excited to feature the fall 2018 Ideal Home in Red Ledges, the first home we've featured in the Rockies," said Kelly Godbey, the magazine's Editor-in-Chief. "Red Ledges was chosen as it exemplifies the ideal lifestyle through its outstanding amenities, incredible views, and stunning architecture." As the most successful private destination community in the Park City area, Red Ledges offers on-site club programs, great access to the region's activities, and the conveniences and friendliness of a small town. Community information and a user-friendly real estate search tool can be found at; the community's on-site Sales Office is open every day but Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
